Also if i store photos on Zovue.com, and video of my blogs. My followers get an update too! because how else will they know whats new,,,unless they keep checking your blog everyday. and some people just dont have the time, or they forget to check back.
when they get the update, their like...oh yeah...i should read that blog, or see that photo or video.
Blogging is a far superior medium. You have to do some work when you write a blog. And they are much more useful sources of information.
While blogging may seem threatened by social networks at the moment I think it will weather the storm and come back stronger than ever in the long run.
1. There will always be noobs who are looking for an easy, introductory way to get into pseudo-blogging.
2. Users will eventually grow out of the confines of a website and get a real blog of their own.
Hopefully :-)
3. One last thing .. I wonder how many of those new Social Network profiles will be abandoned shortly thereafter? It was the same thing for blogging.
